Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms

Linebooth — service operated by an individual seller (name not yet published)
Effective date: 2026-09-04 · Website: linebooth.com

These terms are the pre-contract statement required by Article 7 of the Implementing Regulations of the E-Commerce Law (Ministerial Decision 200/1441H). Please read them before you click the subscribe button. They form part of your contract with us, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.

About the fields written like {first_charge_amount}. The fields {first_charge_amount}, {currency} and {first_charge_due_at} are filled in by the app with your own figures at the moment you subscribe. They are not blanks. Your checkout screen and your confirmation email both show the actual amount and the actual date.

At a glance

What you are buyingA paid subscription to the Linebooth teleprompter — see section 2.
PlansThree: Annual, Monthly, and Lifetime (a single payment, nothing renews).
PriceAnnual USD 59 a year · Monthly USD 10 a month · Lifetime USD 149 once. All plans are charged in US dollars, wherever you are, including inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; your bank converts at its own rate and may add its own fee.
PaymentsPayments are not open yet; the plans above cannot be purchased until they are.
What is in the priceThis is the final amount you pay. Nothing is added to it while these terms are unchanged — see section 16 if VAT registration ever becomes required of us.
What is freeWriting and editing scripts, the templates, PDF and Word import, and the settings are free with no time limit and no account. Rehearsing is free for 7 days in total, counted from your device's first use; the first 2 of them need no account, and from the third day you sign in with a link we email you. After the 7 days, rehearsing needs a paid plan.
StudioPaid from the first press, with no trial. Recording takes, exporting the finished master (WAV, MP3 or M4A), subtitles and AI convert belong to a paid plan from the first time you use them.
Card detailsWe never ask for a card before you choose a plan. No card is entered, none is registered and none is held, and nothing can renew out of a free period because no free period takes a card.
First chargeImmediately, when you press the pay button — never at the end of a free period, because no free period has a card attached to it. The amount is shown on the checkout screen before you press.
ThenAnnual: the same amount on the same date each year. Monthly: the same amount on the same day each month (see section 8 for short months). Lifetime: never — there is no second charge.
RenewalAnnual and Monthly renew automatically unless you cancel first. Lifetime does not renew at all. Before an annual renewal we email you 7 days ahead with the amount and the date.
How to cancelAccount & billing → Manage subscription, which opens Paddle's own page, where cancelling is one click. Any time, no email to us, no reason required.
If you cancelYou keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing further is taken.
VATNone. The seller — an individual seller (name not yet published) — is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and no tax invoice is issued.
AgeThe service is for people aged 18 and over only.

1. Who you are contracting with

You are contracting with:

The seller — an individual seller (name not yet published) — does not hold a Commercial Registration and does not claim one.

2. What you are buying

The service. Linebooth is a teleprompter that runs in your web browser. You paste or type your script, and the app scrolls it on screen at the speed you choose while you record yourself with your own camera. There is nothing to install.

What the paid subscription includes. The paid features included in the subscription, and the features that remain free, are listed side by side on the pricing page at linebooth.com and on the checkout screen before you subscribe. That comparison is part of this statement: under Article 10(1) of the E-Commerce Law our published advertisements and pages are contractual documents that bind us, so what that list promises is what you get.

If you already use Linebooth for free. If you were using the free service before 2026-09-04, nothing changes automatically for you. You are not enrolled in any paid plan, we do not ask for your card, and nothing is ever charged to you unless you yourself click the subscribe button.

3. You must be 18 or older

The service is offered only to people aged 18 or over. You confirm your age on the sign-in screen, before we take your email address, and again on the checkout screen, before the pay button will do anything. The date and time of each confirmation is recorded, and the confirmation made at checkout is carried into the payment record itself.

There are two reasons for this rule, and both are honest ones:

We do not knowingly provide the service to anyone under 18. If we find out that an account belongs to a person under 18, we close it, delete the personal data associated with it, and refund the amounts charged to that account in the 12 months before we found out.

4. The plan, the price, the currency, and how you pay

PlanPriceYou are billedTerm
AnnualUSD 59Once a year12 months, renewing automatically
MonthlyUSD 10Every month1 month, renewing automatically
LifetimeUSD 149Once. Nothing renews. No fixed term and no expiry date — read section 7A before you buy it

Payments are not open yet; the plans above cannot be purchased until they are.

5. What is free, the 7 rehearsal days, and Studio

Linebooth is not a paid product with a free trial attached to it. Three different things are free, time-limited, or paid from the start, and they are set out here exactly.

Using the free features or the rehearsal days is not concluding a paid contract. The paid contract is concluded only when you press the pay button described in section 13.

6. Your first charge — the exact amount and the exact date

Your first charge is immediate. Because no free period holds a card, nothing can be billed at the end of one; the first charge happens when, and only when, you press the pay button on the checkout screen.

Payment terms. Payment is due immediately and in full on that day. There is no invoice period, nothing is billed in arrears, and no part of the price is deferred. Every following charge (section 8) is taken automatically from the payment method you gave Paddle.

The amount, the cadence, the term, the payment terms and the way to withdraw are all displayed on the same screen as the pay button, before you press it, and repeated in the email sent when the contract concludes.

7. Contract duration and expiry

7A. What "Lifetime" means, in plain words

Lifetime is a single payment for access that does not renew and is never billed again. It is not a subscription, and no card is kept on file for it.

It means the lifetime of the product, not the lifetime of the buyer. Your access lasts as long as Linebooth runs as a service. If the service is discontinued and shut down, access ends with it. We say this before you buy rather than after, and the Terms of Service say the same thing; you accept the Terms with a separate, explicit action on the checkout screen before the pay button will do anything.

8. How future charges are calculated and when they fall due

Your current renewal date is always shown on your account page.

9. Renewal is automatic — and how to cancel

An Annual or Monthly subscription renews automatically at the end of every period unless you cancel it first. Each renewal is charged to the payment method held by Paddle on the renewal date, without any further action by you. A Lifetime purchase never renews and there is nothing on it to cancel.

How to cancel — one click

Account & billing → Manage subscription, which opens Paddle's own customer portal, where Cancel is one click.

That is the whole process. It opens from inside the app, at any time of day. We do not require you to phone us, email us, give a reason, or pass through any retention step. Paddle holds your card, your invoices and your subscription, so cancelling on Paddle's page is cancelling at the source rather than through us.

What happens when you cancel:

If the portal does not open for you, email support@linebooth.com and we will cancel it manually with effect from the date of your email.

10. Emails we send you about your contract

We send these to the email address on your account:

WhenWhat it says
When you sign in to keep rehearsingWhat is unlocked, the date your 7 free rehearsal days end, and a reminder that no card is held and nothing will be charged
When you subscribeConfirmation of your plan, the amount charged, the renewal date if any, and a copy of these terms
7 days before each annual renewalThe amount, the exact renewal date, and how to cancel — sent far enough ahead that you can still act on it. We treat this as a promise, not a courtesy.
Before each monthly renewalThe amount, the renewal date, and how to cancel
After each successful paymentYour receipt (see section 16)
After cancellation or refundConfirmation

Paddle, as merchant of record, also sends the payment receipt and its own notices about failed payments. Ours are the ones above.

These are service messages about your own contract, not advertising. You receive them for as long as you have a subscription. Marketing emails are a separate matter — see section 18.

11. If a payment fails

Cards expire and payments fail. This is what happens, and none of it is a penalty.

  1. As soon as the charge fails we email you and ask you to update your card.
  2. We try again, and if that fails we make a final attempt a few days later.
  3. Until the final attempt fails, you keep full access to the paid features. This is your grace period.
  4. After the final failed attempt, your subscription is suspended. You can still sign in and export or delete your scripts, but the paid features stop.
  5. If the subscription stays suspended and you do not update your card, we may close the account. We email you before we do. Your data is then handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.

At any point before closure you can restart the subscription by updating your card and paying. Your new month runs from the day the payment succeeds — you do not pay for the days the service was suspended. We charge no late fee and no interest, ever.

12. Price changes

We may change the price of the plan. If we do:

Under Article 10(1) of the E-Commerce Law, our published advertisements and price pages are contractual documents that bind us. We honour the price you were shown when you subscribed until we have given you the notice above.

13. The button that concludes the contract

Article 7(2) of the Implementing Regulations requires the button that concludes the contract to state that clicking it concludes the contract and creates the obligation to pay. On our checkout screen, the button and the text around it read exactly as follows.

There is only one such button, because the free features and the rehearsal days have no card behind them and conclude no paid contract. Before the button will do anything you must separately switch on two confirmations: that you are 18 or over, and that you have read and accept the Terms.

Annual plan

The button itself:

Subscribe — USD 59 charged now, then every year

Monthly plan

The button itself:

Subscribe — USD 10 charged now, then every month

Lifetime plan

The button itself:

Pay once — USD 149, a single charge

Text immediately below the button, in every case:

By clicking, you conclude a binding subscription contract and agree to pay.

Clicking that button is the moment your contract is concluded. Everything in this document then applies to you.

Payments are not open yet; the plans above cannot be purchased until they are.

14. Your 7-day right to withdraw (rescission)

Article 13(1) of the E-Commerce Law gives you the right to withdraw from a service contract within 7 days of the contract being concluded, provided you have not actually used the service.

We grant you this right. We do not rely on the statutory exception for software, because that exception is written for software "downloaded via the internet" and it is not settled whether a browser-based app like ours falls inside it. Rather than argue the point against you, we simply give you the right.

How it works in practice:

What it costs you: nothing. There is no fee, no deduction and no administrative charge for exercising this right.

How to exercise it: email support@linebooth.com with the subject line "Withdrawal", from or quoting the email address you used for the order, within 7 days of the charge, saying that you are withdrawing. Phone: a phone number will be published here; email is the monitored channel. You do not have to give a reason, and it costs you nothing.

Getting your money back: we refund to the same payment method you paid with, and no other, within 14 days. That period runs from when we receive your withdrawal request, not from when we accept it. Paddle, as merchant of record, executes the refund; your bank may take a few days more to show the money.

15. Refunds outside the 7-day right, and if we are late in providing the service

Full detail is in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

16. VAT and receipts

No VAT is charged. The seller — an individual seller (name not yet published) — is not registered for Value Added Tax. That means:

If this changes — if an individual seller (name not yet published) becomes required to register for VAT — we will tell you as soon as we are able, and no VAT will be added to a period you have already paid for. Any VAT applies from your next renewal onwards, the tax number will be published in section 1 and on every receipt from that date, and VAT will then be shown as the law requires. You can cancel before that renewal if you do not want to continue.

Your receipt. After every successful payment we email you a receipt, and it is also available on your account page. In line with Article 8 of the E-Commerce Law and Article 8 of the Implementing Regulations, it contains: a unique receipt reference number; our name and address; our freelance certificate number; the name on your account, if you have given one, and the email address on your account; a description of the service and the plan; the period the payment covers; the total amount and the currency; the date of the charge; the last four digits of the card used; and our contact details. It is a receipt, not a tax invoice.

17. Suspension or termination by us

We may suspend or end your subscription if you break our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy — in particular the rules against storing or transmitting material that infringes public order, religious values, public morals or the privacy of others, which is a criminal matter under the Anti-Cyber Crime Law.

Where we can, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we end your subscription and the breach was not serious, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for. Where the breach is serious or unlawful, we may end the subscription immediately; in that case we refund the unused part of the period you paid for, less any amount we can show we actually lost as a result of your breach.

18. Marketing emails are separate

The emails listed in section 10 are about your own contract, and you receive them while you have a subscription.

Marketing emails are different. Under Article 25 of the Personal Data Protection Law, we send you marketing or promotional email only if you have given separate, prior consent by ticking the marketing consent box — which is never pre-ticked, and is never a condition of subscribing.

19. Complaints

If something is wrong with your billing, your renewal or your refund, this is how to complain and how we handle it:

  1. Write to support@linebooth.com with "Complaint" in the subject line (a phone number will be published here; email is the monitored channel). Tell us the email address on your account, what happened, and what you want us to do.
  2. We confirm in writing that we have received it, and we give you a reference for it. Linebooth is run by one person, so we aim to reply as quickly as we can rather than promise a fixed number of days.
  3. We then give you a substantive answer. If your complaint needs more time, we tell you why.
  4. Your complaint, our answer and the outcome are kept on record.
  5. If you are not satisfied, you may take the matter to the Ministry of Commerce — unified number 1900, or the Ministry's app — and, if you are outside the Kingdom, to your local consumer authority.

Nothing here takes away any right you have under Saudi law.

20. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights or what you pay, we email you before the change takes effect and before your next renewal, and the change applies only from your next renewal. You can cancel before then. Minor corrections that do not affect your rights take effect when they are published.

The version that applies to you is the one you accepted at checkout. We keep a record of it and you can ask us for a copy at any time.

PUBLICATION CHECKLIST — NOT PART OF THE TERMS.
DELETE THIS ENTIRE BLOCK BEFORE PUBLISHING.
Every statement below is binding on the owner under E-Commerce
Law Art. 10(1) once published. Verify each one first.

  1. ANNUAL PLAN. This document ships MONTHLY ONLY. There is no

approved annual price token. Do not re-add an annual plan
until the annual USD price is
approved and inserted in the At-a-glance box and section 4.

  1. Paddle.com Market Ltd (merchant of record). New token — must be approved by the

owner and filled with the real payment provider.

  1. PAYMENT METHODS (s.4). Replace the "listed on the checkout

screen" wording with the explicit list of card schemes, and
state expressly whether mada is accepted, once the provider
is configured.

  1. CARD DATA LOCATION (s.4). Confirm with the payment provider

that full card data is held outside the Kingdom. Correct the
sentence if it is held inside.

  1. PAID vs FREE FEATURE LIST (s.2). The pricing page comparison

is incorporated by reference and binds the owner. Publish it
before these terms go live, and keep it accurate.

  1. AGE GATE (s.3). An 18+ affirmation must exist at signup. If

it does not, build it or delete the sentence.

  1. USE MEASUREMENT (s.14). The 30-minute / 3-session commitment

requires the app to measure session count and time in app.
Confirm it does, and add that purpose to the Privacy Policy
under PDPL Arts. 12-13 / IR Art. 4(1). If it does not, delete
the commitment.

  1. FAILED-PAYMENT FLOW (s.11). Match to what the payment

provider can actually do before publishing.

  1. REMINDER EMAILS (s.10) and CANCELLATION / RECEIPT EMAILS.

Confirm the email provider is configured to send each one
automatically. No fixed timing is promised — keep it that way.

  1. 1900 (s.19). Verify the Ministry of Commerce unified number

at publication.

  1. TAX NUMBER. No tax-number token appears anywhere in this

document, deliberately. Re-insert only on actual ZATCA
registration.

  1. MAROOF. If e-store documentation on Maroof is completed,

add it to section 1 as a verification link — never to
section 19 as a complaints channel.
